Blog post- Can Stars Have Heartbeats?
Binary stars: a system when either one star revolves around the other or they both revolve around a common mass/center.
Electrocardiogram: a diagram of a person's heartbeat via electrocardiography.
Tidal force: gravity's secondary effect. Tides rise because gravity exerts a force by one body onto another, but not consistently across it. The closer side is more attracted than the farther side.
Wavelength: the distance between successive crests of a wave (i.e. sound wave or electromagnetic wave)

Blog post - Crystal Offspring: A Marriage Between Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geology
Nanoparticles: a particle on a nanoscale
DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid): self-replicating material present in almost all living organisms, the carrier of genetic information.
Stem cells: an undifferentiated cell of a multicellular organism that is capable of giving rise to indefinitely more cells of the same type, and from which certain other kinds of cell arise by differentiation.
Superlattice: an ordered arrangement of certain atoms that occurs in a solid solution and which is superimposed on the solvent crystal lattice.
Photonics: the branch of technology concerned with the properties and transmission of photons, for example in fiber optics.
Catalysis: the acceleration of a chemical reaction by a catalyst (breaking down).

Blog post - The Volcano: Evil Predator or Misunderstood Beauty?
Volcano : a conical-shaped mountain or hill with a crater or vent through which lava, rock fragments, hot vapor and gases are erupted
Asthma: a respiratory condition marked by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing. It usually results from an allergic reaction or other forms of hypersensitivity.
Pulmonary: in relation to the lungs
